Saturday night was stop 1 of the Concrete Chaos Best Trick Contest Series presented by vitaminwater. Jaws, Robbie Brockel, Evan Okeson, and a few other local shredders threw a half hour demo before the chaos really began, just after eating free pizza and hydrating with unlimited vitaminwater. For the contest we had 60 entries, including some of Arizona's best like Simon Lambey, Marcus Carr, Dashawn Jordan, Isaiah Johnson, Tim Bell, Auttiesh Danger, and more. Trick after trick were landed on the rail, and then in the finals Dashawn Jordan went all helicopter on us with a backside 360-540 flip. For you who live in Arizona, we call it the Brockel flip, and for you who played THPS back in the day you call it a gazelle flip. Whatever you wanna call it, Dashawn calls it money in the bank because he took home the $500 cash prize. Congrats Dashawn!
